Longshot but... Telecom job open in Denver

Verizon is looking for a contractor. You would be a field tech cruising around Denver doing adds, moves and changes on Avaya Definity G3 systems as well as trouble tickets on Octel Aria 250 systems, Cisco switches and routers and Nortel Passport gear. The Nortel and Cisco stuff is mostly after hours and on-call. The last call I did was replacing a 2980g-a that decided to die. The bad part is that there is a lot of really time consuming preventative maint stuff that we do and some of it is after hours so you would get OT. There is also a lot of documentation involved that seems unnecessary but the client wants it done so we do it (but we bitch a lot).

Pay rate is about $25 to $30 an hour plus mileage.

Pm me ASAP so that I can get you the contact info. We are looking to start someone by the 26th of November. Interviews are happening now.
