Tim, does she want to still do processing?

If so, Texaslending.com is usually hiring good processors and pays them well.

she was hoping to do something a little different, the current mortgage situation has left a bad taste in her mouth. I guess something a little more stable would be ideal, but I will pass on the info, thank you.

The processors that were on my sales team were averaging $50-60K which they said was pretty decent for them.

Do they hire with no actual experience in that field? I could start about 10K under that to get my feet wet...

Amy makes less than that at CW (minus bonus, when she did) and she's been doing it for several years.

Your best bet is to find someplace to learn first, most will want some experience. Countrywide usually has positions open for it I believe because they are almost always short staffed.

Just search Monster/Careerbuilder/Hot Jobs for mortgage processor and see what you dig up.

Salary will vary all over the place depending on potential bonuses etc.
