RF Technicians

Samsung is currently hiring RF repair Technicians through Prostaff. You would be repairing the Samung mobile phones. The starting pay is around $14/hr, but if you can show prior experience and show that you can perform the repairs quickly, you can be bumped up to around $16-$17/hr within 60 days. Currently there are 7 positions available on 1st Shift (6:30AM-3:00PM) and 2 positions available on 2nd shift (3:30 PM-12:00AM).

If anyone is interested, shoot me a PM and I'll give you my email to forward your resume.

Why do they call it "Common Sense" when it is so rare?

I haven't seen anyone start at that pay rate, but that's just me. I was never in complex, I can only speak of what people from complex have told me.
They went to 8 hr shifts at the end of february.

Do you really think someone at 16 years of age would have the experience to do that kind of job?

i've unlocked about 20 different phones for myself and neighbors, repaired them when the antenna stopped working, and on one i had to replace the screen, on another i had to change out all the keys which was really gay, anyway it's kind of a hobby of mine on the side and i learn really fast so maybe, tell me what it intails.

Sorry guys, I was out of town for the last few days.

Spenser, I was just going off of what Rodney told me. It is a new program that they are starting. Too many people got in the door on the old program that did not know what they were doing. The pay is still negotiable, and will depend on experience. That is just a starting point.

Qualifications are pretty simple. If you have had any type of electronics training, you will be considered. You must answer some basic electronics troubleshooting questions, demonstrate the ability to use basic test equipment, and you will be given the chance.

Why do they call it "Common Sense" when it is so rare?

You would be troubleshooting phones down to component(sp) most of the time. Tracing signals, power lines, and etc. This is of course if we're talking about the job I held at Samsung.

no not at all like that. It's more like having a phone thats BROKE you take the symtoms and break the problem down into possible sections. Then you troubleshoot the diff sections. Until you either fix it or figure out that it's Beyound Economical Repair... It's called troubleshooting. And if you're a pimp (like me) You could/should push out 100phones in a 12hour period.

Not really. It requires you to be very analytical. You must diagnose what component failed and then effect the repair.

I was just giving him the "basics", the people that sucked there were the guys hired to solder. I swear every 5th board would come back charred black.
