Insurance underwriter needed

Lone Star Insurance has recently opened a position for a new underwriter. pay depends on experience, and we prefer to have someone with a P & C license. Please fax resumes to 214-570-8332 or you can email them to me at [email protected].

Thanks,
Mel

Why would your underwriter need to be licensed? How much does it pay? heh.

Technically everyone who works in insurance is supposed to be licensed besides the receptionist. I'm not completely sure if its an absolute requirement though. I dont know how much this position pays, it really depends on past experience. You would have to fax in your resume so that I can give it to the owner, and have her give you a call to talk about pay.

They are pretty good about it. We will get you licensed if you dont have one, its just a plus if you already have it.

We are also about to open a sales job in the call center. This position requires giving quotes to inbound calls. Not sure what the base pay is, but you will receive a base pay + commission.

Also, incase anyone was wondering, our company offers health/dental benefits, and we are in the process of working out a plan for offering 401K benefits.
