Automotive parts sales, salvage yard.

I need some help in my call center at Greenleaf Auto Recyclers. The job will basically be answering the phones and making outbound calls to customers looking for parts. It isn't telemarketing and you won't be cold calling anyone.

The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills, excellent work ethic, be a multi tasker and smooth on the phones. We need someone with basic automotive mechanical knowledge and some experience with body repair. If you can tell a 1/4 panel from a fender it's probably enough, we'll train you on the rest.

Pay for the call center starts at $9-11 per hour plus commission. No weekends (may change eventually) and full benefits are offered. We are located right behind the Haltom City Speedtek location.

If you are interested please shoot me a resume in word at [email protected]

Thanks!

I know a guy that is real honest and very knowledgable about this sorta stuff...I'll have him give you a call asap..his name is charlie Roberts...

J/k...I will give this info to my brother who needs a job though..

It's the soldier not the reporter who gives you the freedom of the press
It's the soldier not the poet who gives you the freedom of speech
It's the soldier not the campus organizer who allows you to demonstrate
It's the soldier who salutes the flag, serves the flag, whose coffin is draped with the flag that allows protesters to burn it

do you work at the old AAA? if so how long have you worked there and what is your name?

I used to work there about ten years ago when Sturgeon still owned the place.

Yeah actually I'm in the original AAA building. You can see the windows from the old trailer house if you know where to look. I've been here less than two years.

Ron just sold the company again last month, he's not hurting for cash

About 7 years ago he sold all of his yards to Ford (Greenleaf), I think it was a total of 5? Then a couple of years ago Ford was losing their ass and sold him and a group of investors the entire company with around 28 yards. Ron and company sold 3-4 yards and closed and consolidated a few others. Last month his company sold the Greenleaf Corporation to Schnitzer Steel (owners of Pick and Pull).

I've filled all of the available positions at the moment but I still have several resumes on my desk. We plan on expanding again after the first of the year and I'll post up any additional positions then.

It's crazy, we had the ad on monster for over a month and didn't received a single qualified applicant. I got about 15 resumes, most of which were from people with no automotive background at all. Within a couple of days on here and I had 6 very good candidates.

Thanks to everyone!

Nope, sorry for the late reply but I don't know Arthur.

I do need help again though if anyone is looking. Previous automotive experience necessary and bilingual is a plus. Pay will range based on experience and qualifications.

I've got a new person starting Monday and could possibly have another position open next week. In the mean time I've got a few resumes that I'll hold on to. Thanks for all the responses!
