I have heard in the past that some people have been hired within weeks while others said it has taken them months. I think they will call you or they would not have given the test to anyone if they were not needing people. My guess is that they will be hiring soon because within afew months the holidays will be coming up and thats when the USPS is hurting for help and right now is a good time to be trained since it is not so busy like Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday's. Just be patient and they will call you.

Good luck!

well, i was wondering if an 89 was good enough to get a call. I know for the fire dept. i wouldnt even be close with an 89 and many more took the postal test.
BTW: Both my father and brother work for the postal service in Dallas.

GRAYHORSE,
What did your letter say? It should either say your Eligible or not, now if it's good enough to get a call i would say yes... but Personnel is the one that makes that decision.

I dont know if the rules have changed but i know that you may be able to extend your test scores for another year, it should say something about it in the letter you recieved.
