The Post Office will be hiring but first you must sign up to take the test at www.usps.com/employment and the announcement numbers are
Dallas area 116778
Irving area 116780

I tryed those numbers and they didn't pull up.....maybe its just not in the system yet?

Yes,you guys are correct it will not be activated untill January 31st thru February 4th only. Sorry i forgot to mention that.
Also the ad was listed in Sundays Newspaper of the Dallas Morning News and the Star-Telegram in the job section.

I applied there a year and a half ago. Took 4 months before I got a notification to take the civil service exam, then they had to reschedule the test. Next week I take the mechanical aptitude test. It's a great company to work for if you can get on but it takes a LONG time.

I think its a good job as well and they pay very well. For those of you that want to take the test you can go to the library or Barnes & Noble and buy the book to study for the test, the test is not hard its mostly follwing directions, memorization from what i remember. You can also look at the book at www.amazon.com and jusy type "Post office exam" in the search icon.
