Thumbs up Techs Needed!!!!

OK guys, here's the scoop. The company that I work for is in need of some bodies and I am sure someone needs a job. It requires a mechanical inclination and basic understanding of eletronics. The company is an authorized Visteon distributor which provides support for local FORD dealerships. ( For those that do not know, Visteon provides FORD's audio and entertainment systems.) Which basically means we go out to dealerships and service the factory equipment on site in most cases. (This includes both in and out of warranty issues.) In addition to on site repairs of factory equipment, some aftermarket audio and entertainment installations are required. We also do in house repairs for factory and aftermarket audio equipment. (Delco, Bose, Pioneer, Kenwood, Calrion and FORD.) Soon the company will launch an aftermarket retail and installation side requiring again, more bodies. They are currently needing field techs, so you must provide your own tools and transportation. (Note: You do get gas and oil allowance as well as milage write off at tax time.) It's not a bad place to work, and it is pretty laid back here. If anyone is interested, hit me back and I will put you in touch with the higher ups.

Bonus: I will get to test drive a GT before (if ever) any of you fools will!!! One of the perks of working for ford.

Depends. There is one tech that lives in McKinney and runs a route in Wichita and up to Oklahoma. He's here at the shop once maybe twice a week. At first you will have to be.

At this time, we are only mail in anywhere outside of the Dallas Ft. Worth metroplex. There has been talk of expansion.

Man, I guess i'm interested. I can do audio equipment if I learn how to tear apart the center dash real quick. other than that, no problem. I have no experience other than installing my old stereo and subs w/ my brother. If the pay is good, I guess it can warrant the drive out to Carrolton.

I gots rims and NO car. Way to go me.

Well, I can't work there. I got the word from Kevin. It takes 6-months of training before actually working. I have about 3 to work so that's a no go.
