Resumes???

My wife and I were wanting to update our resumes. Our resumes look like crap since neither my wife or I finished/went to college. I feel that our resumes need some buttering up.lol Moreless, what I am asking is, who here is good with rewording a resume to make it sound like you are a bad ass and wouldn't mind helping us out?

Brooke,
Would you mind posting some tips that would apply to all career fields? I came close to paying someone once, but decided against it. Either way, that person suggested going for more higher level crap then what I have. I have maintained...this or that...and more or less give a bulletized version of what could've been my old job description. This person suggested scrapping that and putting higher level accomplishments. My thinking is that those accomplishments are encompassed in the bullets already. Make sense?

Take care,
Ceyko

CDHSTANG,
Army? If so, is ACAP still offered? When doing my resume, the #1 problems was using words like Division, Brigade, BCT...etc. Make sure not to use a single military term in your resume. If your supporting a division, equate it to the amount of folks in a division and use that number. If your working in a TOC, you can just translate that to a Tactical Operations Center. In this case the Op Center is civilian enough for a civilian to understand.

If you want, PM or email me your resume and I can review it for standard military oriented mistakes that I made.

Take care,
Ceyko
