Is there a such thing as a Detail University?

I was looking around the Denver area for a detail school. Something like where a grade A detailer teaches people how to do their own cars with a focus on the exterior. They would have a materials list that all the students would have to by before class and would go over a well though out plan that covers all of the basics.

I am guessing that this doesn't exists but it would be nice.

agreed... however i'd be willing to bet its one of those industries where you'd lose your ass buying all the good stuff for personal use and not making money off it... just a guess, could be wrong tho...

Yeah, I've done classes before, and would be willing to do them again. Just have to find the right time when we're not buried with work. The last class we had brought people from all over the country, and some from Holland. It was an awesome class, and a great success! Meguiar's and AutoGeek sponsored the class, and had products to provide for giveaways and door prizes, along with products and tools to use during the class. I can't thank them enough for what they sent. Must of been a couple of thousand $$$ worth of detailing supplies.

I've never charged for a class, only asked that people chip in for my expenses(lunch, renting chairs/tables, etc...). If theres enough interest I'd be willing to do another one for DFWStangers. But so far I've only had 1-3 people interested. Hardly enough to shut down my business for a day, if you know what I mean.

If this does happen, it's gonna be a couple of months before I can even start putting anything together. I'm working on a HUGE project right now that takes priority. This project should be over around July or so.
