Adhesive

Hey my friend removed strips off his car and now there is adhesive glue where the strips were, he has tried 3M adhesive remover but that just moves it around.

Got any good ideas?
thanks

If it's moving around, sounds like it's releasing the adhesive. Just need to figure out a way to pull it off the paint. They make plastic razor blades for this sort of thing. Spray the adhesive remover, use the plastic razor blade to pull it off the paint, then using a towel wipe away the left over residue. But please don't use a metal razor blade.

Find one of these. You can get them at local paint shops.

Nick, add these to your arsenal if you don't already have them. You can thank me later.

If he lets me bang his sister, I'll drive out there and do the work myself.

You put it in a drill and rub the adhesive, it comes right off. No scratching of the paint and no need to buff.

FYI, the paint under the trim will not match the paint left exposed, no matter what you do to it.

o ok... well the strips were only on there for about 2 weeks so the paint is still the same.
