Convertible Top Cleaning?

What's the best way to clean your convertible top, anything I can use to keep it looking close to new?? Black top of course

Whatever you do, DO NOY put Armour All on it. Sure it looks good afterwards, but the first rain you drive in, it gets all over the windows and the wipers do not remove it. Stupid car wash place I had clean my car one time did that. It sucked, big time!

I just use the regular car wash soap on mine, never had any problems. I have had white, tan and 2 black tops, all cleaned the same way.

They've done studies you know.... 60% of the time, it works every time

I also use just car wash soap on mine as well. I've also heard that if you put Armor All on the top it will make it dry, but I don't know if that is right or not.

i used meguires(sp?) vinyl and rubber protectant on my black top and it worked great! and i never had a problem with runoff on the windows.

LKQ GRUNT....
