More Props to NICK....

I've gotta give Nick more props... like he needs any more. I talked to him about detailing my boat and he said he doesn't do boats but recommended a product. It was the Meguires Marine Oxidation Removal Kit. My '99 Glastron was looking pretty rough and I was worried about making it look good again. Took a lot of elbow grease but I got out my B&D Buffer and went to work... here are the results.

Before Nicks Recommendation:

I used several "terry cloth" bonnets for the buffer. With a better buffer and some better pads I bet it would have been easier. An actual high speed buffer (not a random orbital like i used) may have been overkill for my boat but I can see how that would be good on a boat with heavier oxidation.

Thanks guys... no camera tricks just a lot of hard work. I still need to do the top of the boat and the carpets and seats. I will take a picture when I am done with everything.

I bought the stuff online... just google "Meguires Marine Oxidation Removal Kit"

Bottom part took about 6 hours to do both sides. Maybe a little less... my wife kept on having me do little house stuff while trying to work on this.

Have Nick do your truck... he is the best!
