Black or White, easiest to keep clean?

So, I'm sitting here debating on the color of our next car with my better half. I say black is hardest to keep clean, but looks better; she says white gets the most dirty.

What do you "smellers" think?

Shit, neither. Get Silver. Black shows grey/whitish dust and dirt and swirls more, and a white car shows umm everything. Silver blends better IMO.

I only buy white vehicles and they do well in not showing the dirt...

I say go for black, but be sure you are going to take care of the car so you don't swirl the paint up. If you aren't going to be meticulous about its care then go for white.

Black shows more dirt, but if you keep it waxed and get you one of those California dusters, you will save yourself a lot of washing. The dusters always worked well for me.

Just have a primered car. Dirt looks so natural on it anyway.

I have always chosen white because it seems to not look as dirty as some other colors.

My truck now is a gold color, and it doesn't show dirt at all. If it rains, it looks bad to me up close, but not from about 10 feet.

I hose off the wheels occationally, but it was dirty in this pic.

2 rules of owning a black car:

1. When clean, theres no prettier color.

2. When dirty, theres no uglier color.

I had a black car... and now I have a white truck... The car was a pain to keep clean cause of swirls and all that... But this white truck shows everything...

I say get a Black one and a White one...

Who Knows...

I manage a paint and body shop and can tell you that I will never own a black car. IT shows every little flaw. White however is very easy to maintain, easy to repair should the need ever arise, and hides a lot of dings and dents. A hail damaged white car does not really show itself in the sun because it is so bright. The only downside to white is that any plastic parts of the vehicle that are white have a tendency to "yellow"

My tan '98 ranger always looks good. I let my brother use it to go to Commerce for school..came back this weekend, 4 months later, still looked clean. I washed it and it changed colors LOL.

My black '05 is another story....show everything and I am anal about its finish. But it sits inside mostly and still looks new and looks sick.
