Payment options....

One of the biggest factors to people not having me polish thier car seems to be the lack of cash to pay me when I'm finished. While I realize that I'm not the cheapest, I also do not want you to take your car to someone that is not going to treat your car the right way and possibly screw up your cars finish. And trust me, there are a lot of cars out there that are screwed up. I do so many "fix" jobs from other detailers or dealers that try and buff out the paint. So I've decided to give some kind of payment option for people that are a little short on cash.

First, the payment option. 2 payments max. Half up front, and the other half due within 30 days from the date the job was completed. I don't charge that much, if you can't afford to pay in 2 payments you have problems

Now the rules of this option. Must be a registered dfwstangs member with a minimum of 1000 posts, or registered for at least 2 years. If you don't meet these requirements, then you must PM me and I'll make a decision to trust you or not. I will look over your profile and past history on the board, and make my decision based on that information. After all, I am basically loaning you money. Consider this being my "credit check".

There will be no extra charge for this option. This is just simply a way to have my services avaliable to everyone.

Nick

Edit: I also do trades for my services. I need things around the house like a small dinning room table(2 seater), bedroom furniture(I have an extra bedroom that I need to furnish), air compressor, garage storage cabinets, etc... Just let me know what you have to offer, and I'll let you know if I'm needing it or not.

Why not use Paypal or something like that so that you can accept CC's?

Probably an even better idea. Will cost you a little bit, but would pay itself off if even one customer were to not pay the second half.

I already have a Paypal account set up. But there are a few people who would rather not pay for something like this with a CC. It's just an option for those of us who like to pay cash for things.

I'm really not worried about someone not paying up. There are some dud's on this board. But I really don't think they will screw me out of money, and if they do, I won't let it be a secret

I can see it now:

Dude...Nick...come on man...detail my car...I've got some AC ducting laying around that I could trade you.

Or.

Hey Nick...will you trade me for a two and a half year old George Forman grill?

On second thought......maybe AC ducting would be worth a trade if you're willing to route me some ducting into the garage

Weak. Nick, you should not have to finance your detail work for people.
If you're poor, wait until you have ALL the money for a detail.

probably not... you obviously do quality work based on the pics I've seen... let those broke-dicks wait till next month!!! or, put it on a credit card... anyone responsible enough to not want to put it on a credit card is probably is probably someone who'll just wait till they have the full amount! LOL!

if anything, put it on a lay-away plan! LMAO!!! pay me half now, then when you come w/ the other half, you can get your junk detailed!

don't sell yourself short and cater to ghetto-ass clients!

Nick, if folks can't pay cash or Paypal, they should pass until they are able. You would need a damn accountant to keep up with all the "open" accounts you would have. You're better off offering a DFWstangs discount up front, than to offer "payment options".
