Painted interior

so i just bought a car and the interior is about half painted black. it was red. one seat was painted all black but now the material feels like ass. is there any way to fix it or should i just trash it?

They painted the cloth on the seats? Thats the first time I've ever heard of that.

I'm not sure if you can succesfully remove the paint without trashing the cloth itself. You might be better off finding another seat.

Seats are gone man. At least the covers are. You could always get them recovered for around 1500.

You could even try ebay and see if you can find some seats for cheap on there...I got a good deal on 03 cobra seats for my 96....

ya i dont know why that dumb as would try to paint the cloth. makes no sense to me. but i figured that i would have to buy new ones. just thought i would try and see if maybe there was a chance. so i guess this means that i have to replace the carpet, door panels, and other random crap that got painted.

not that this has anything to do with it, but I watched trading spaces one time and they tried painting a cloth couch black...guess what, it didnt look good at all, maybe thats where they got the idea from...LOL
