anyone need anything painted??

i'm in auto body at school and i can take in small projects such as fenders and hoods. i'll also do body work as long as it's not horrid. just tryin to keep myself busy so if y'all got anything that needs to be done for real cheap just let me know. all you gotta do is buy paint. you won't have to pay me. i'm just a 17 year old that likes to do that stuff.

I'll show your president the same respect you showed mine.

I've got some gt side skirts off the car that need painted; would need the flexible additive in the paint. Also have an explorer with rusted out rear rocker corners.

hey y'all thanks for all the replies and thanks elvis for given some info. yes i'm in plano and this is a class through school. i've been doing it for 2 years now and i can take in small projects. such as door handles, hoods and fenders, i think the only time i'd be able to paint a full car is if it had NO body work so. i won't be able to major modifications such as the rusted out rockers. i would love to really but i just don't have the time sorry. thanks guys.

Thanks anyway! I figured the rockers would be too much but the skirts could be carried in since they are off the car.

PM Me . . . I have some Black Fenders from a 1953 GMC that need to be re-shot. They've been sitting on the truck in my parents garage for a few years and have some deep scratches. That, and when we had the truck painted 8 or so years ago, they did not take the trim off the front feners. The front fenders are off the truck right now. My dad just got the re-built engine started and will be ready to put the fenders back on soon. No body work is needed. They are smooth. But the black on 53 Fenders need to be PERFECT because of the curves.

He's driving me NUTS because he's been half assing the little details, and I have a feeling he's going to put the fenders back on without getting them re-shot. But if you can PM me with some thoughts on Time and Money, I might be able to talk him into at least doing them right the first time while he has them off.

if you go to PSHS id recommend this as a good deal. I went through pesh and heard nothing but good things about their auto body program. Only problem is finding the work. (our principal wanted to shut our program down because he needed the space to put extra math classes, so we werent allowed to bring vehicles in, our booth never got fixed; wouldnt ventilate, and heater didnt work) Everythign I've been told about PSHS program is good stuff. Support this kid and support the program so it doesnt end up like PESH (teacher quit because of bullshit and now no one is around to teach it). I was also informed their teacher does 1 on 1 interviews with kids interested in the program, to make sure they are in the class because they want to be in there.

Remeber, not everyone is going to be working in an office, filing paperwork. SAT scores arent the only way to be a success, and the automotive industry is always going to be a big money maker. Lets support our kids ability to pick up a trade early, if desk jobs dont appeal to them.
