I didn't know that, but have never heard of Madico. I am(or at least used to be) familiar with the 3M, LLumar, and Formula One tints
I think people that go with Huper want more performance out of the tint and would rather have better vision at night than just something dark, which is the reason for my post.
I often see, "what is the darkest I can tint my car?" threads, which to me actually reads: "I want limo if I can get away with it, and who can do it for the cheapest?" Once I saw the Huper demo I was sold. I don't want super dark tint that is almost impossible to see out of at night and still doesn't reject as much heat as the light shade of Huper does.
The "I want the darkest tint I can" crowd is usually the same crowd that will spend $1000s on stereo equipment (good for you of course
) and $1000s on mods to make their car faster or look better but for whatever reason won't spend $350 on window film that makes a tremendous difference in how hot their car gets in the Texas sun. Shit, my car has black leather and I don't even crack the windows and rarely(not never) use my windshield shades anymore on hot days since I got my tint installed. I just pop the sunroof open and I'm pretty much good to go... it's that good, as you know
As far as I'm concerned, my tint is my best mod for my car so far, until I get another chip anyway
