Is the carpet still out of the car? I have used "Greased lightning" many times without fade, or the stains coming back. The key to the stain not coming back is getting all the residue rinsed out once you are done cleaning, which is easy when the carpet is not installed.

I used Blue Coral Magic Carpet/Stain remover and it worked! It removed some coffee or coke stains and ink from a pen or marker, both from a previous owner, on an older car I once had. You can pick it up at Autozone. Oh, this was on tan carpet. The rust stain will probably stay but the grease shouldn't be a problem.

Go to Home Depot and get this stuff called Folex. I've tried everything on my home carpet and the guy that just installed some carpet for me recommended it and it amazing. I have a few grease spots and it took them right out and didn't mess with the color.

If it is out of the car take a power washer to it. I got out oil stains in the trunk carpet with that and a steam cleaner.

Some friends in the auto recon business use acrylic laquer thinner sometimes.

May not work on yours but worth a shot. It does not discolor or ruin the carpet.

Who da thunk it?

Also a Blue Corral fan... i also think taking out the carpet and blasting the shit outta it would produce the results you're looking for
