you realize once you clear coat it, it won't be flat anymore unless you use a flattened clear (expensive)

I buy most of my paint from a place called Gladwin Paint on 35E/635

Is that the place off of Valley View Ln, or actual on the service road of 35 i believe?, if so i worked right down the road from there and passed it everyday.

Yeah id like to do flat black and clear coat it later, but at the cost i might not be able to. Will the flat black paint keep its "flatness" without distorting, without putting a clear coat of some sort over it?

<-dumbass with paint

that's the place

I'd imagine it would fade and stuff over time, not to mention getting any chemicals/road debris on it before you spray the clear, but I really couldn't tell you for sure. I'm not a paint pro either.

Oreily's carries Dupont paint. Not sure if they would carry the flattening agent but i did see Nason clear on sale for $80/gal. Lol <--------flame on for the Nason- Its not the best shit but not the worst, can't beat the price.
