i usually just take mine to the car wash and shampoo them or let the guys at MiTiFine shampoo them

but you might want to try oxyclean or orangeclean for carpets and upholstry if you were to do it yourself

I pressure washed a set of seats that I sold out of a 91 coupe. They were filthy, and even a little bit of mildew on them from sitting in a wrecked car with busted windows. They were open to the elements for over a year.

A quick pressure wash at the carwash with high pressure soap, and again with high pressure water made them look like new.

Just do it on a sonny day, and set them out in the sun to air dry so that they don't mildew.

If you can, take the covers off. But, it's a pain on a mustang seat, so I did it with them on.

Take care

o.k. i dont use autocarwashes partially because i do it in my driveway and partially because these jeeps will leak like a civ if hit with any type of high pressure water. so i was unaware they have this type of stuff. i apologize for the smartassed comment.

are the cans of "interior cleaner" worth a crap? thanks again.

god bless.

i would wait till it warms up, get a buddy with a truck and take the seat out, and take them to a car wash. you car try other methods if you like, but unless you have a steam cleaner, this way is going to work the best.

Call any carpet cleaning company and they'll usually steam clean the whole interior for ya'. I paid 40 bucks to get carpet and all seats done. Good luck!
