question...?

about how much does it cost to paint a hood...i would just be painting it black but was wondering if anyone could give me a guess on how much it would cost...?

Hey since you're not getting replys, and I'm not totally for sure on a price myself, you should just post up in the Five Star Ford Forum and ask, and you'll for sure get a response back.

or just call a few body shops they should be able to give you a close estimate over the phone or a ballpark..

Glass or steel hood. Is it a new hood or used.

best case, new steel hood with no body work $150

worst case new glass hood needing a lot of body work $500

both prices are using Dupont base/clear and sanded flat and buffed unless you want them to match the rest of the car and I can leave a little texture in it. Either way it would be slick as glass.
