"Quick-oats" with a scoop of protien in it and a tablespoon or too of pure honey. All it takes is the time to boil water.

I haven't really checked but, let me tell you this seriously. Yolanda and I used to cycle low to no carb diets. While they do work my opinion is that they work for the really overweight. We found that after two weeks our fat loss quit working.

I now don't worry too much about carbs. Now I do not go crazy and eat a ton of them. Mostly I get them in the morning and lunch. But if I have a sweet or carb craving at night, I'll grab a handful of peanuts (unsalted) and have at it.

Personally I can't do the low carb thing because I binge. It's like "oh my god. this is my cheat weekend! bread-rolls, give it to me!" I'm like the bread monster.

The key is to eat healthy. I now make sure I get a good dose of figer. Insoluble fiber goes straight through you and soaks up alot of fat on the way out. I've been trying this way of eating for 3wks now and I can definately see the changes. I've also been doing moderate weight and high reps. I've totally changed my workout. I'm going for a muscular lean fitness look. I want to stay 200lbs and get about a 10% body fat count.

What type of products have Insoluble fiber? I have never really worried about what I eat but I would start hitting this subject hard. I have lost a lot of weight as well as ego..

I usually eat a bowl of raisin bran or eggs and toast

As far as Carbs in raisin bran - 1 cup (59g) of Kellogs Raisin Bran has 46g of Carbs + 13g of carbs from 1cup of 1% milk but also has 14g of protein, 310 calories and only 4g of fat.
