Blood Spots under Skin?

I have been working out for about a month now and last night I started my creatine cycle. I started my workout with a 5min cardio on the bike and then proceeded to do 2 sets of 12 reps on a heavy lift of all the normal weights I usually do, taking maybe 30seconds in btw to get some water and set the weight to the right level. I figured by maintaining such a fast pace it would keep my cardio up. Well I woke up this morning with what looks like blood blisters under the skin on both of my shoulders. I'm curious what this is from and if it is potentially dangerous.

I get those every now and then. They seem to go away after about a week or so. Never thought it was a big deal. Atleast i hope its not.

But what causes it? It looks like I got the shit beat out of my shoulders with a baseball bat or something.

You probably broke some capillaries underneath your skin. I wouldn't worry too much about it unless it continues to happen.

Anytime you put a lot of weight on your shoulders you will get those. As long as you aren't a huge fatty you don't carry a lot of fat on the shoulders. Anytime I do calf raises or squats I get those, they are just very small bruises from the pressure of the weight....

Happens to me too! Similar to a bruise. Nothing to worry about.

Calve raises and hack squats will cause that. Try putting
a small towel across your shoulder's when you do these.
