man.. i know its kinda sick.. but this is week one back after 9+ months of not lifting. and JESUS CHRIST my chest and bi's HURT!!

i gues after 9 months of not working out thats ok for a wimp, j/k after my press work out i like to burn out with 135 from 25 to 35 times burns like a fuckn bitch though.

my bench workout = 225x15 275x10 315x5 225x12 then 135 x25 to 30

its the other lifts and form that make your press go up so if you kill yourself there the rest of your work out is fucked.

were do you workout at

when im "in shape".. whcih should be a few months from now.. i start..
125x12
225x12
315 for 12-15
365 for 8-12
then either 385 or 405 for 6ish depending on how frisky im feeling.. then back down to
315 till burn out..
225 till burn out.. keep in mind.. every set after the initial 225 is till failure.. and then 1 or 2 negatives..
then the rest of the escercises kick in.. granted.. i havent lifted for a while.. so .. i expect 3ish months before im back up to that.

i work out at the 24 hour fitness on parker/alma

not to dog ya but i am calling bulshit on those numbers because first of all you would not have lost that much and 405 6 times fuck that means you bench nearly 500 pounds and if you did that in the first place you would have never stoped lifting in the first place, second some of the strongest guys at my gym would have trouble with that workout there are some of them that would make that look easy but dam if you can do all of that you must be a big ass mo fo on the jucie and a lot of it.

actualy.. my max was 485 ... when i was inshape at 245.. as for doubting me.. i dont care i have the 3rd place medal for the open calls in the ronnie coleman strength contest to prove what i coudl do.. i stoped lifting for many reason.. work, marriage.. and others.

i love it when non believers call BS.. just because you cant do it.. doesnt mean i couldnt.. and will again soon.. ASk got boost how long it took me from benching 275 for 4 reps to repping 315 on the bench 9 months ago when we lifted together for a few months..

and your calling BS is a compliment to meL thanks..

haha, feldman is a big motherfucker, i bet he can do it.

I am in the same boat, the weekend i was home i got back home, i did some bench work on my machine, and christ, i couldnt lift more than 160 lbs. I could lift 285 in my prime, and my coaches always busted on me for not being able to lift worth a fuck. Shit, that pisses me off. good motivator there though.

Um Robby, I have seen this dude when he was lifting (a while ago) and he looked the part. Some of us don't have the muscle memory others due.

like i said.. im a pussy now.. and am not pushing myself for a while, need to let my body remember what the gym is before i beat the crap outta it.. im slowly laying down my progression weight wise, making pretty conservative estimates so that my tendons and joints arent beat to piss from doing huge jumps in weight...

never said or thought i was the strongest because no mater how big and strong you are there is always someone stronger, as for white lighting i would love a chance to work out with you and see if i can get some more production out of my numbers, 465 is a shit load of weight i am pushing for 405 hear in the near future maby you can help me with that.

cool cool.. like i said.. give me a few months to get back into the swing of things.. like i posted.. i didnt even attempt over 135 last week just trying to wake up the old beast inside..
i figure a month of pussy footing around.. then 2 months of moderate lifting and i should be able to get back in fullswing.. i will be happy if i can get back up to 75% strengh in 3 months.. so we will see.. i will post on progress.
