Good quick way to get protein: Check this out

I bought some Whey Protein from Twinlab (Ironman) and one serving is 16g of protein, 2g carbs, 80 cal.

Now get this one serving is one scoop in 2oz of water! I had to check the other tubs to make sure it wasn't a misprint.

I love this! No more huge glasses of protein and tons of farts! I down this in less than 15 secs.

One scoop is 21g of powder. And it mixes up quite nicely with a spoon. I probably put 3oz of water.

I've been using Optimum Nutriton Whey Protein. Its 13 bux for a 2 pound tub. 20 g of protein / scoop. Doesn't taste too bad and is nice and cheep. 3 g of carbs / schoop also. Not too bad either.

You won't gag off it. It's your normal protein shake powder w/ water. Plus it's gone in 10 seconds.

This is what I use as well. To me all protein shakes taste the same. It's whether or not they give you the shits that bothers me. I go with the 5 lb'r its 30 bux. Best deal and quality shit. Mine has 22 g protein and you can use anywhere from 4-8 ounces of water or milk. I think most of the WHEY protein is suggested this way. I usually do 2 scoops(44g) three times a day. I used to use Myoplex but that shit was getting expensive to buy every 2 weeks.

Great, that is what I was looking for. Thanks lilgeezy. I am new to this supplement thing and was not aware that you could get this kind of stuff at grocery stores. That helps a lot!

hrmmm.......... I may have to try some of those brands you all are talking about. For the last month or two I have been using the Designer Whey and it I have no complaints with it at all. FWIW, I buy all my supplements at the Shoothie Factory as their prices seem fair compared to other places and they have a pretty wide variety.

I would get some Glutamine to go along with your protein shakes and you should drink it IMMEDIATELY after working out. From what I have been told, the Glutamine and protein do their best for recovery when taken right after your workout.

K I know you have to work your muscles enough to where they need the protein. But those times I guess you don't work hard enough or eat too much protein, but the nitrofuel shake kicks my ass almost everytime I take it. I have even tried using less with the same amount of water and I still get ass pains and the squirts. Any assistance here? and sorry for the detailed explanation.

NoX2 is for anyone who wishes to extend their muscle pump; Signal muscle growth and speed recovery and increase their strength, stamina and sexual vigor Nitric Oxide, a key molecule manufactured by the body, causes vasodilation (an expansion of the internal diameter of blood vessels), which in turn leads to increased blood flow, oxygen transport, delivery of nutrients to skeletal muscle, and a reduction in blood pressure. An amino acid compound called arginine alpha-ketoglutarate (A-AKG) and arginine-ketoisocaproate (A-KIC) can boost short term Nitric Oxide levels. Increased strength and markedly improved stamina can also be expected. In fact, the results may be classified into three categories: 1) the promotion of an extended muscle pump; 2) signaling muscle growth and speeding recovery; 3) increasing strength and stamina. Used in conjunction with your exercise program, NoX2 may support myodilation, the expansion of muscle tissue. Furthermore, Pinnacle utilizes the exclusive A-DS Advanced delivery system in NoX2™ which spikes absorption of the active compound to insure uptake and help sustain the powerful myodilation effects of A-AKG and A-KIC around the clock.

Anyone used this stuff? BTW thanks for the link.
