Good "Alternative" workout...
I was supprised at how much I felt this today, but yeaterday I spent about 6 hours at the mother-in-law's place helping the brothers-in-law clear some land. Every muscle I have is sore today. Cut down trees with a chain saw, dragged them out of the way and cut them up with the chain saw. threw them in the truck and the wife and her brother hauled them off some where then came back for more. Had some sections of trees that were so heavy it took 2 of us to lift and we carried these 20 - 30 yards or so to the truck (had to stop and rest several times on those trips). I'd guess they were a good 250 - 300 lbs. I feel great as far as feeling every muscle I have now. But I was not worth a shit today at all.
I consumed a TON of water and even thought ahead and brought the Protein powder with me!
On a side note I have still not started doing cardio workouts yet and there was a few times that I thought my chest was going to explode and I felt like a little girl because I got worn out easier than I should have. Looks like I am going to go ahead and let that be my first cardio and get started on that now too so as not to waste that "initial workout" in that area.
Final assesment - Lumber Jack Workout will kick your ass!
