too much milk?

yeah, i read that whole article posted awhile back about how milk is bad for you, but i dont believe it. i average a gallon of milk every two days... is drinking too much milk bad for you? somebody told me that it could actually weaken joints and bones if you had too much... i think hes full of it just wondering what other people think... is there such thing as TOO much calcuim and stuff? thanks

too much water is bad for you... too much oxygen is bad for you...

Like Forest said. Practically anything in excess is bad. Yes, you can have too much calcium. There are people out there that start storing excess calcium in rather odd places...like...heart valves and arteries!....Though I would think it would take a hella dosing to get to that point.
My concern wouldnt be the quantity of milk you are drinking but the quality. Are you drinking whole milk? If so I would recommend you switch to at least 2%. Whole milk contains far too much fat and is typically only needed for infants and growing children.

I'm gonna have to go ahead and disagree just on general principle because whole milk is the only milk!

I agree when considering taste, but skim milk has a good amount of protien and carbs that are great in an after workout shake. You don't get that from water.
