How much do your measurements vary between rested and pumped up?

I measured my arms the other day after a workout and they were 1/4" bigger than they were later after I was rested. I never really noticed the difference before, but I felt like measuring and I was thinking "Damn! I gained 1/4" in like 2 days" since the last time I measured. lol

I couldn't tell you, I have always measured "cold".

Throw a tape around there when you are "hot" and look at the difference - it is wierd to see the difference between the two. The guy I work out with has 17.25" arms and they are the same hot or cold. Wonder if the bigger you get the less the difference is or something.

There should be a difference in that when "warmed up", your muscles engorge themselves with blood, thus the term "pumped up". I dunno about your buddy, even the pros that have been doing it for years still experience this effect, that's why they do various routines just before walking out on stage.
