Unhappy I think I F'ed up tonight......

and I probably will not be able to walk tomorrow. For the first time in several months I got on a treadmill instead of the usual cross-trainer and forgot to stretch out good before I got into a good jogging pace. It has only been an hour or so and my calves are already cramping up like a mofo.

Ehhh....... I forgot to add in there the reason I got on the treadmill was all of the cross-trainers were being used with people waiting. I was gonna chill on the treadmill for a few minutes until one came open but after 5 or 6 minutes of walking/waiting is when I decided to go ahead and jog a little.

"What doesn't kill you will only make you stronger". Just make sure you stretch out today and tomorrow real good (every day for that matter, sore or not). It's probably better for you than you think to change things up like that, once your legs repair your regular routine is gonna be cake. Just don't use it as an excuse to take too long off, or the benefits will be null.

I don't think bananas would help this pain. I almost cried when I went down the stairs at my apartment this morning. Aaron, I think I am gonna start getting on the treadmill for a while two or three times a week and mix up my cardio just a bit to see if I notice a difference.

Kevin - try walking around all day in heels when your calves are so damn tight and torn up that you can barely move! It sucks. Even stretching them out is excrutiatingly painful today.

I meant they have potassium in them which helps you not get muscle cramps. They also help other parts of da body.

Oh, I know the potassium helps with muscle cramps but my deal is that I am just sore as hell because that was the first time I ran/jogged in a long time plus I didn't stretch.

It's not too bad today. I stretched pretty good last night and got after it on the cross-trainer so that probably helped a bit.
