Thumbs up Got me a weight set

I bought me a weight bench with weights from I Stang U off the board. So far its pretty fun! I've got a regime down that I'm sticking to, it consists of:

3 sets of 10 reps @ 77#'s bench press ( nothing big, dont want to start off to hard on the muscles )
3 sets of 10 lat pulls @ 88#'s ( I've been doing some in front of my chest and then turning around and pulling them behind my back if that makes sense )
3 sets of 10 Sqauts @ 77#'s ( these fuckers are fun! Can feel that shit all over the body )

I havent done anything as far as leg work besides the squats, I've also started to do 3 sets of 30 situps as well. Combined with drinking plenty of water and letting my muscles relax and regain strength, and a new diet I hope to be a contender! ( with what I dont know yet lol ).

I've been checking out some of the crazy excersicse on exrx.net?, some of that shit is just insanely stupid! A good morning?! I was thinking about trying one and then I decided I wasnt an idiot lol. Wish me luck!

Thats a good Start, Cruz. Was wondering do you feel fatigued at all with the weight you used? Was it difficult to finish the last few reps and do you feel sore today? Dont forget to warm up and stretch.

Whats wrong with Good Mornings? I hate 'em...but...they work.

My chest muscles(peck area) feel like the have a natural flex going on, barely feel it though. My legs feel like I havent used them in forever, I used to get this feeling a lot when I hadnt skated for a month or two! It feels great. I actually have more energy now then i have had in a while, its only been like 3 days

*snickers*...thats what I was going to tease him about. He works out with about the same weight on bench as I do...except I do 3 x 12.

I didnt want to give you a hard time Cruz cuz I think its outstanding that you are taking the initiative to improve your health/fitness level.

As long as you are getting something out of it and learning proper form and technique at that weight/set...I wont bust your chops to bad.

Exactly, everybody's gotta start somewhere. Keep it up Cruz, you'll be too big for that skateboard in no time.

That's a scary thought, somebody's actually taking my advice...

Good form is where it's at, but don't slack on your intensity. I also read an article over the weekend that purported that a haircut was another good way to muscular hypertrophy. Give it a shot...

Yeah, I think I read the same article. It talked about the shorter the hair, the better the gains and improvements.....ever see Ronnie Coleman..or Nasser El Sonbaty?

I can vouch for this technique. My wig was gettin thick and I finally cut it this weekend and got it tight and now I look way bigger everywhere else.

Can't wait to start my cutting phase and loose this waist to make other things look bigger
