I'd say go for it, as the time off has given your chest time to fully recuperate and be at 100%. Any longer than two weeks away and I'd suggest a week or two back in the gym before maxing.
However 245 seemsd a bit low to start with, I'd try to get a bit closer to your 1RM max so that fatigue doesn't play a part and lower your numbers. Drop 20lbs from your last max and go up from there.
