I read an article long time ago in Muscle & Fitness. And they were talking about that. If I have the Magazine laying around some where I will post it here.

damn, just think 0% BF! You would have to be on an IV at all times just so you wouldn't just die if you walked. You would also have no energy

In short...no. Your body actually needs fat. And I aint talking Taco Bell fat so dont use that as an excuse for stuffing yo' face.

Well think of it this way, once you get fat, you have it FOREVER. When you "burn off fat" you are really just shrinking the cells, not making them disapear. They can get smaller, but they won't go away. That is why I'm starting to eat less fatty foods as soon as possible so I don't end up with the fat later in life when my motabalism(sp?) starts slowing down.

Psilocybin is right about the cells just shrinking after burning off fat except that the cells if not used for long enough (don't know the exact length of time but this is an extremely long time so if you are losing a lot of weight quickly plan on saggy skin) your body will break down the cell wall for the use of energy. If at some point you begin to produce more fat cells (your original cells can only handle so much), deppending on your developmental stage, this may be normal or you may be in danger of obeccity.

If you do try to cut out "all bad fats" then you are looking to get only one type, Omega 3 fatty acid found in the oh so praised Flax seed oil suppliment that many of us are taking. I have not yet tried this but I did order a supply from Massquantities.com (sorry their site is down so no link)

Criticism is welcomed vs. my link but I do know a thing about cell biology (college is great )

Exactly! Once you have that fat cell you will have it forever. You may shrink it through working out and eating healthy, but it will always be there.

Damn FAT!
