Creatine

I just started taking creatine, is thier any way to mask the taste of the stuff. A few people suggested grape juice, but it still taste like crap. I almost puke from drinking it. I have tried water and that was a mistake.

don't know what kind of creatine you're taking, but you can hardly taste the stuff I've got.

The grape juice isn't necessarily for flavor enhancement (although it helps), the insulin spike caused by the sugars in the juice allow for better uptake of the creatine into your body. This is the same principle that stuff like Phosphagen works from, it's essentially creatine pre-mixed with a simple sugar.

Ive been taking PhosphagenHP for about 3 weeks, Ive been working out 3-4 times a week and I stay sore for a few days after ever workout. Is this a side effect of the Phosphagen, when I used to work out I never stayed sore when working out on a regular basis. Any thoughts.

The soreness isn't a "side-effect" of the creatine per-se, but you should be working a little harder/longer with the increased stamina it provides. Pushing yourself a little more will in turn cause a little extra soreness. Just make sure you gently stretch out the sore muscles, and get plenty of rest to help them recuperate.

Mine is undetectable. (EAS Creatine) I buy 10.6 oz use it up w/ grape juice then get off for a couple of months then do it over again.

I find that it makes my muscles look soft. All it really does is keep the muscles pumped it does help build lean mass but, like I said I only load up and then get off.

Creatine works by filling the cells of your muscles with water, thus the size, and stamina. Unfotunately the "flat" look comes along with it.

back in the day when I took creatine I just took a spoon full of it, stuck it in my mouth and slamed a big glass of water, no sense in making the pain prolonged.

I used to do that too, but ai found that it is way more effective to take with a simple sugar like juice or the pre-mixed creatine. That get's a little costly though and this blower's gonna have me chokin' down the powder soon enough for lack of funds.
