Bjj

I'm interested in BJJ. I've never done it. But after being in the gym for so long, I'm getting tired of the usual routine.

I've read that JJ gives you a great work out, while learning something new. Does anyone attend North Dallas MMA?

If so, how do you like it? I'm completely new at this, and would like to hear some pointers.

Don't be a spaz and don't take things personally.

The hardest part is getting started to go check it out before you change your mind.

i say do it. i started three years ago in my backyard before it was big around here. we just used dvds and books. then we drilled technique. it is easy to get discouraged in the beginning but its an awesome cardio workout and, as far as combat sports goes its one of the few you can do everyday and not be totally useless to the world.
