best time to take creatine

for those of you taking creatine, when do you take it? pre or post workout? I've been doing a lot of reading and I can't seem to find a solid answer. some articles say before and some say after.

what about protein? when do you take that? because everything I've been told and read has lead me to believe that one of your protein isolate doses should be taken post-workout also.

well, basically the issue I'm having is that I'm taking creatine after my workout but I recently started taking a protein blend also. I'm having trouble taking the creatine, which is fruit punch flavor, and then following it with a chocolate protein mix. so I was just wondering if anyone was taking the creatine before and protein after.

you can get a 1000g bag of unflavored creatine for $18. That will last you over 6 months.

I always had the best results taking it 30 before my workouts, then I'd add glutamine to my after workout shake.

I remember mixing my Gatoraid with a vanilla protein powder once and that was the nastiest ever. I made the mistake of mixing it into about 20oz of fluid so it took a few swallows to get down. Won't do that again.
