Nike+ (Plus)

Anyone here use Nike+ to track their running? I recently started using it and was never a distance runner. I was always a sprinter, and to me 400m was long...typically I ran the 100m and 200m in track. But...not that I've had it for a little over a month I have seen significant progress in my endurance and speed. Although not good, I can keep a steady 8 minute pace for over 2 miles now...whereas I was having trouble keeping just one mile under 9 minutes at the beginning.

Before everyone starts making fun of those slow ass times haha...I'm 5'10, 191 and about 11-12% body fat. I'm just not a runner. But I can say that Nike+ is changing that and I would say it has revolutionized my workout. Now I'm not just a gym rat. Hoping to do a 5K in late october with a finishing time under 25 minutes.

Nice man. I am the same build as you, so I know how tough running is lol. I hate it, I need to get out there and do more of it though.

I would strongly suggest it. It helps track progress...has online coaches and you can challenge friends from all over. I literally hate running but this has kept me consistent.

Running for you is tough because you don't like it, not because of your build.

I use runkeeper app on the iphone, uses gps in the phone. Also I'm 5'10" 268# and can hit right at 10min in the mile, although I do expect that to improve as I change my running workouts

My whipped ice dairy drink brings the attention of females to my place of residence and/or employment, and it far surpasses that of yours. Absolutely, it surpasses yours. I can convey to you this recipe, but I have to demand compensation.
