progress!!

Ok, I don't have many photos of myself, as I'm usually the one taking them. I found one from easter this year and two from January this year for as much of a point of reference as you can get from it. There were a few pics snapped of me while I was at the beach last week. (mainly my kids jacking with my phone camera LOL!) Those on stangs that know me very well that saw me this past weekend have stated they see very big differences, and I feel great but I'm far from being where I want. It's just the baby steps I'm taking to ensure a good healthy lifestyle that doesn't come undone.

Wish me luck on continued success!!! And thanks to you all here for your support and information.... and especially all the help I have received from Sean and Andrea!!!

Oh and I didn't want to, but I posted my progress pics on FB on Saturday. Was wondering if you saw them? I did it because I saw a pic of me from April and it absolutely blew my freaking mind!!!!!

I haven't checked yet, but I'm gonna right now!

I know I didn't give great before pics for comparison, but you can see how the excess fat in my face is gone, and my belly doesn't stick out like I'm 6 mos pregnant anymore either

I feel like a locomotive of motivation! My biggest motivation is definitely my children. I want to be able to keep up with anything they want to do and to encourage the best possible physical fitness and diet for their own well being... and having friends that have never said anything about my appearance tell me I look "Hot" doesn't hurt anything either!

Congrats Chuck! Did you also take measurements before you began? A lot of what I've noticed isn't just weight loss, but shape shifting. I've lost more inches off my waist but my gluteus enormous is more firm and much less fatty... my calves are bigger, as well as my quads. My face is much slimmer without all that extra cheek and chin giggle. Also, my neck and chest are a few inches smaller overall, but my biceps/triceps are bigger, etc. I'm replacing fat with muscle , so to me, my weight isn't as important as overall size / inch loss. Keep that in mind on your journey my dear!!!

I think you meant you are replacing fat with muscle.

Well I haven't officially measured myself. I will say this, when I began my journey, I was dangerously close to having to wear a size 46 in pants. My size 44 jeans were very difficult to close and would hurt my waist, and I wear my pants below my belly. Lol!

Now my pants (44) will fit over my belly, no problem. I have a few pair of size 42 pants that are even beginning to fit too large. My belt is of no use to me anymore. I have it at the last loop and if I tug on it.....I get about 2 inches off my waist of room!

The bottom line is I feel amazing and I can only imagine how much more amazing I will feel when I lose even more weight. Last year, when I lost this much weight, this is where I quit and ballooned back up! I'LL BE DAMNED IF I LET MYSELF GO AGAIN!!
