read up on cutting time between reps to no more than about 60sec. I bought a weight bench with olympic set of 295# about a month ago. First I got 295 once and yesterday got 295# for 5 reps. now I need to buy more weights to find out what my max is. Also now it drives me up the wall to see guys just talking in the gym about 5min between sets and not even breaking a sweat.
Definitely beneficial in many ways. Sometimes I do volume training like that, resting 15 seconds in between sets, it's killer.
Yeah I've been trying out this FST-7 program, still doing some of the sample workouts I got in an email from Bodybuilding.com. I haven't been disappointed yet! I just need to sit down and really analyze the theory behind it so I can start changing up the routines within this type of system at will.
