I am definitely quite new to heavy lifting. I lifted weights in the past but never saw much of a gain since I really didn't know what I was doing. Me and a friend of mine began this program on Monday, and today will be our second workout. I'm following the program exactly as described in the book, and I'm also doing P90X's ab workout every day that I lift as well as one set of pull-ups to failure. On my off days I'm going to do a little running. I already know that my biggest problem will be my diet. I have a hard time eating as many calories as I will need to really put on any weight, but I'm making an effort at it.
