Polar Watch

I am needing to get a good heart rate monitor. I have narrowed it down to the polar brand but am a little overwhelmed with all the options. Most of the time i am cycling but will have to start lifting weights and running a little more when i am on the road traveling. I recently had a small heart attack and am only 37. So far i have lost 20lbs in 2 months. I really need something i can wear and keep track of my exercises and training.

I would love to get the FT80 but do i need it? I would like to get something that has the GPS so I can track distance and speed.

Please help me pick something.

The 300x has gps and is a great all around starter watch. It's also a little bit less than the ft80. Most of the trainers where I work use the 300x, it's not the most advanced but does all the functions that an average user would need.
