Exclamation If you listen to music in the gym please read...

I've noticed this trend in the gym of late, and find it highly annoying. After my workout, I always chill in the sauna and then steam room a bit to stretch and wind down.

People are listening to their music so loudly that they do not realize they sing outloud, talk to themselves, smack their gum like a damned crackhead, breathe loudly like they just ran for their life for 30 miles and/or clear their throat loudly every 2 seconds.

Just because your music is so loud you can't hear what you're doing, doesn't mean that others can't.

Sometimes it is a little funny, especially the singing and talking, but mostly it makes me want to go postal.

Thanks for listening!

Old lady cropdusted me today on the treadmill as she passed by. I almost fainted. What do old people eat that make their farts stink soo badly?

Man, I wish that was the case. My irritability is totally natural. Why, you got some roids?

LOL, no. I haven't got that obsessed yet. I just can't seem to bring myself to buy any supplements. There is so much out there to choose from its overwhelming. Plus not knowing what works and what doesn't, I don't want to waste the money by choosing the wrong stuff.

I could write a daily blog about the shit that pisses me off in this new gym. I am amazed daily at the amount of people with their heads stuck up their ass out here. It doesn't take loud music, there are a couple older asian dudes that sing out loud in the showers, as if ANYONE cared to hear them. Another guy plopped his ass on the sink countertop, and proceeded to dry his feet with the hand dryer. The musical chairs in the sauna is also mildly amusing/irritating. Seems like everybody feels entitled to sit down, even if it costs the 4 people around them their personal space. You got fat by sitting on your ass lardo, why not stand for 15 god damn minutes?

I think the solution to your problem would be to listen to some music.

There's a large dude (read fat) that thinks he's all that and gets on the elliptical and signs with his Ipod. The sad thing is he can't carry a tune in a bucket.

I don't like listening to music in there tho... I wanna unwind. All my WO music is really heavy, not really suited for relaxation.

I have no issue with people having a conversation, but the singing, smacking, breathing, etc grinds my gears.

LOL I have an original ipod, the 512K shuffle. I barely have enough music on there to make it through a workout without repeating songs.

Bout 2 weeks ago there was a real skinny guy in there with 5 lb dumbbells and jump rope gettin his sweat on. I just don't even go in there anymore. And it smells like old old vagina in there, the steam roon smells way worse.

Everyone who goes to the gym should learn the ediquite though. Put weights up in their right spot, don't fart on people, don't sing or queef too loud.

One more gripe... people who insist on working out RIGHT in front of the dumbbell rack. I mean like standing right in front of it. At least back up a couple feet so people can grab some weights.

I can't stand the people that can't wait 12-15 damn seconds for me to finish my set set of curls, while I watch my form in the mirror.
