Unless this LA Fitness is different, the general consensus I've received from those who go to LA dealt with a lot of pressure from the sales reps.

They weren't any more full of shit than any other sales reps in the world. It's a chain gym, they're all pretty similar.

I worked out at the Lewisville location for about a year or so right after they opened. I never had any problems there, though I've heard people mention that it has since turned to crap. Also, they kept closing earlier and earlier at night which sucked cause sometimes I had to do late night work outs. Other than that I enjoyed my time there.

Oh yeah, and my monthly rate was $29.99 plus tax, and I got my sign up fee waived since I worked for the school district at the time. They are usually willing to negotiate that start up fee in order to get a new member, so I'd definitely try to do that...

That's one of the slower LA's in the area. Which is good thing.

I may be able to get you a deal of some sort. You can sign up at any of them so call the Mckinney LA Fitness and ask for the Manager James.

Tell him Greg at Lockout said to hook you up the best way possible!

He's done some good deals for friends before, i've had many join under him...

I just joined there last week and have no complaints so far. I tried to negotiate pricing with them and ended up with a "closeout" deal. I honestly wasn't real concerned with saving a few bucks since I wanted to get back in the gym bad and was not going to go anywhere near 24hr. shitness. Sales guy I had was pretty cool and very low pressure but that might be because I let him know I was a sales manager and know the routine.

I pay 32$ a month

Since i've moved i've been going to the one off 121 & Preston lately after work to play basketball(not very good ballers there).. It's nice and you'll catch a few cute girls.

The one in Lewisville had better basketball players imo & a lot of cute girls to keep you working out even harder lol

A lot of my friends use to work in sales and PT at the one in Carrollton, its nice too, just a bit crowded sometimes due to a lot of HS kids..
