Finally, some "good" pain!

I've been having trouble walking yesterday and today, and for the first time in a good while it's because of DOMS, and not the remnants of my busted leg. I had a decent leg workout on Monday for the first time since my wreck, and though the weight isn't there, it feels tood to be able to push them again without bad pain or fear that the rod will snap. heh

Range of motion in the ankle is still fairly limited so I may never do squats again, but the leg sled seems to be good enough to put a hurtin' on me. It's good to be able to see a light at the end of the tunnel again.

Good to hear!

BTW, have you considered trying wide stance sumo squats? If you really want to squat again, it might be an option.

Yes, good news. Maybe you can try a hack squat machine....

That is what I used for years, because I was afraid to squat.
Just make sure you go as deep as the sled will go and stay tight through the entire movement.

I may give both of these a try in the coming workouts, but I'm still having some trouble with that knee, so I'm a little hesitant on the sumos. I'll probably try those as a warm up on my next light week and see how it feels.

Thanks for the encouragement guys, I know it's gonna be a long road, but it feels good to at least have found a proverbial VW beetle to get me moving again. Can't let these young punks down here in Socal show up the "older" guys.
