I have to get my heart rate up before I can do any good on weights.
I usually go jogging in the morning, then go to work. At work I will get on the treadmill off and on throughout the day. After work I'll go to the gym and do cardio, then the ab killer, then weights, then abs, weights, and go home.
If I try to go straight to the weights, then I have to go light until my heartrate goes up. Seeing as I can quickly get bored (distracted) and find something else to do, I'll never skip cardio before weights.
