Cardio questions

Well, I'm leveled out on the weight I have lost so far with out doing really any running or anything. I've started running about 25 minutes a day jogging for the last week. Is this good to run just for time, or is distance recommended? I'm down from 225 to 200 and really am trying to eat a lot better and do some kind of cardio every day.

Any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated.

from my personal experience its not the time that impacts weight loss its the calories burned. I dont run period, i walk for an hour increasing the angle/resistance to get the desired heart rate. in an average hour walk i cover 3-3.5 miles and can burn 700-900 calories depending on the incline i change the treadmill too.
keep in mind though i do my cardio After lifting, and 5-6 hours after my last pre work out meal.

How do you figure the calories burned? Is it on the treadmill?

yup... on a treadmill.. you input your weight and it calculates it.. obviously its not 100% accurate.. but its a ballpark.. not all 300lbs ppl have the exact same muscle to fat ratio.. so you have to take it with a pinch of salt.
