from my personal experience its not the time that impacts weight loss its the calories burned. I dont run period, i walk for an hour increasing the angle/resistance to get the desired heart rate. in an average hour walk i cover 3-3.5 miles and can burn 700-900 calories depending on the incline i change the treadmill too.
keep in mind though i do my cardio After lifting, and 5-6 hours after my last pre work out meal.
Pain, is weakness leaving the body.
