overtraining or undereating??

Sucked at the gym today, mentally had it but my body just couldn't do it. felt weak. jogged 5 miles sunday and yesterday. all i had yesterday was glucerna for breakfast, protein shake sample Greg sent me. and syntha 6 for supper, (maybe a few jelly beans in there to help curve the sweet tooth.)
think my caloric intake is too low but just afraid to gain what ive lost. I was 270# in january and now down to 250#.
can see results except around my waist. my belly fat now feels liquidy??? guy at the gym said the fat is starting to break up?? I hope so
even went back to 8hr shifts so i can hit the gym or jog after work. cleaned up my diet, if nothing good aroud to eat i just grab a myoplex lite or carb advantage.
I do allow a good " cheat" weekend every other week.

When I was skinny and in shape, I just used 1 day a week to pig out. Eventually, it's more like just cheating a little as your gut is small and you get full quick.

I know it is not a dietician type answer, but hell - for those of us who like to eat is a good comprimise - if you can maintain the workout portion.

If you weigh 250 and jog 5 miles two days in a row while not eating a whole lot it is going to take some energy out of you. That is about 1000 calories per running session. I'd say you got to eat a little more, it is ok to diet but you can't eat nothing and expect to have any energy.
