Surprised myself yesterday

so.. im about 6 weeks back at the gym after my 6 month " the raven busted his leg so that is an excuse for me to not lift for 6 months" hiatus.. got done with shoulders and tri's and decide to try my hand at dips ( havent done them in about 7 years).. i was pretty impressed with myself im down to 305 from 342ish lbs and my first time in said seven years i could still do a set of 18, 12 and 10... ( at the end of my tricep workout).. while its not the sets of 30+ i used to do at mid 250s.. im glad i could do it.

also. i dont do the pussy foot. " pop your self to lock out and then do bullshit 1/4 way down dips"... i start at the bottom from a full extention hang, and start my dips from the bottom to full range LOTS of fun at 300+ lbs.

that is alot of weight to be moving, god damn. do you try and stay straight up or do you lean forward and bring the chest into it? I'm 170 at 6ft (pretty thin) but I can get 2 plates on my last set for 8-10, but I am slightly leaning forward as well and it's not my last try exercise either!

He is referring to his bodyweight, not extra weight.

That's why I was like damn... I hang 2 45's and still don't come close to 300. Are you a muscle 300? I've read some of your post's and you're an awfully strong guy, so I assume so.

Then again you're 300, so your arms must be massive too... ie easier to move more weight.

the SAD thingis im DOWN to 300ish
down from 342 to 303 right now.. Hardly lean at 303 still just a fat tub of lard.. for now.

as for massive arms.. not quite when you lease almost 40lbs and are still over 300lbs. you know you are a fat ass.
