My coworker runs 1/2 marathons and has tried to get me to run one with her. I can't even run one full mile much less 12. The most I ever did was walk 7 and that was when I was in good shape!

Eric, 01WhiteCobra lives for crap like that. I've done a half Marathon before, but I won't do anything more than a 5K fun run here on base now.

I'd like to do one just to say I did it. I'm going to have to work up to it.

Those long races, 100 miles or so are for lunatics who like to piss blood and shit themselves.

I want to do the mud run, but my running shoes are too expensive to ruin on just one race. I would have to buy a pair just for the race, and I don't want to

You do not want to do the mud run in running shoes. Go to an Army Surplus store and get some boots.

I wanted to do the Mud Run event this weekend but did not have the funds. I am planning to do the one in November. The organizer of the Mud Run events, Paul, owns and operates the Blue Cow Coffee Company on Broad street in Mansfield.

They changed the rules last year. If you wear anything other than boots, you can run but not compete for prizes.
