Staying Lean and building muscle
For those of you that know me, im a pretty small framed guy and fairly lean to begin with and a metabolism that will kill a gorilla. My goals have changed recently and im no longer wanting to be 185-200 like i once wanted to be.
For now my short term goal is to be around 160ish in weight and 7% or so in BF. That being said, i need help in eating for this goal, cardio and anything else related to getting me there.
Ive been banging around in the gym for about a month, month and a half and everything has been to a T except my food intake. (I think) I dont know if im eating enough. Im in the gym 5-6 days a week, practically no fat in my diet. I havent touched a beer in almost a month and fast food even longer.
The four main things ive been consuming is chicken breasts, brown rice, veggies and protein shake.
I havent really been in the gym long enough to see any results other than maybe a lbs or two missing from my gut.
My workout routine has been an hour of lifting and anywhere from 15minutes to 45 minutes of cardio.
My calorie intake is usually anywhere from 2000 to 2500.
Now my question is, is with everything i just mentioned workout routine, cardio and calorie intake, will i eventually get to my goal or do i need to change something up?
Btw right now im about 145 and 11ish%bf
